We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join us in that journey.
As a Data Technical Product Manager for Acquisition Marketing, you will align to one or more Marketing Directors and one or more squads of engineers. You will facilitate research with marketers to identify their needs, translate them into a product strategy & executable roadmap. In all of this, you will be the pivotal link in helping acquisition marketing and data engineering teams work together.

Role responsibilities
Own solutions that facilitate marketing directors and advanced data analysis through:

Define  data product strategy for your assigned Marketing Director(s), and to work alongside Tech to produce the correct solution in the quickest time
Managing and owning the product KPIs and working amidst various teams to deliver them (Data Quality, Availability, Platform Uptime etc.)
Working with Tech to own and deliver the following:
Setting up and testing the databases required to deliver the product solution as agreed with the relevant directors
Developing and automating datasets to be used for dashboards, and automating BI reports
Ensure database design is as appropriate for the business requirements generated
Create documentation / data dictionaries that will assist the business and analysts in querying databases more efficiently
Taking Data Quality to heart – Providing interim support to keep existing datasets running Steering bug investigations, root cause analysis, and leading the follow ups
Writing clear, accurate functional requirements both for your technical delivery team, but also for your upstream data stakeholders
User documentation, super user training and support
Maintain fluid communication about delivery - roadblocks, trade-offs, timelines and future strategies with your aligned marketing teams

Candidate Key Skills

Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data technologies
Proven ability in designing dimensional models
Experience with multiple development lifecycle methodologies a plus, particularly Agile / Scrum
Advanced SQL skills
Technical and practical experience in environments with the following technologies:
RDBMS technologies
Hadoop/Big data
Applied knowledge of online marketing, log data or clickstream data from Search Engine, Display Ad, Price Comparison Engine (Google, Bing, Atlas, Doubleclick, others/etc.) highly preferable, or willingness and ability to learn
Bachelor’s Degree (fields of Statistics, Mathematics, Economics and Business, or Computer Science are preferred)

Organisation - Comfortable dealing with uncertainty by creating structure and prioritising effectively. Ability to manage complexity and several projects simultaneously
