To use a good understanding of client data, with good technical, design, organisational and communications skills, to design, build, and implement across our client data solutions.

Take responsibility for the design and delivery of significant development projects (or elements of projects) to often tight deadlines. 
Accountable for the quality of the design and implementation of development projects. 
Gain business expertise on client data to better inform technical decisions and resolve any issues raised. 
Oversee smaller briefed technical projects using the dunnhumby ETL approach and client software. 
Pro-actively identify opportunities for improvements in process, our ways of working and process automation. 
Collaborate with other GP&S teams to jointly deliver projects within budget, error free and on time. 
Ensure all development projects undergo thorough QA processes to minimise errors and ensure high quality.  

 Qualifications
 
Desired:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a numeric subject. 

Essential:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any subject

Linux and Linux Scripting
SAS Programing (particularly DI Studio)
SQL
Ab Initio
Data Warehouse Development Lifecycle
ETL

Software/Data Development
Data Modelling Tools (e.g. ERwin, PowerDesigner, ER/Studio)
