About the role
As part of the GBI Team, you will use your extensive Business Analyst (BA) and business intelligence (BI) experience to manage and shape the delivery of dashboards, BI and analytics for key programmes at Royal Mail Group
You will engage with stakeholders to identify business requirements for major programmes of work that have BI and data deliverables as part of their core remit and you will be able to document those requirements to support the projects. You will also work alongside colleagues in technology to translate the requirements into meaningful technical artefacts that form an input into the design and delivery of complex BI products.
You will be responsible for translating technical complex artefacts into a language that is understood by key stakeholders at multiple levels of the organisation. Supporting the programme managers, you will also manage the transition of work items into BAU from a project status and ensure that they are managed effectively.
This role will require you to establish and maintain positive relationships with the project stakeholders at senior levels of the organisation.
You will have extensive experience in experience in a BA role within a BI environment and have proven ability to manage and shape the deliverable requirements and processes of key programmes.
Having a strong technical understanding of data and BI management principles you will understand the technologies required to successfully deliver the BI strategy and solutions required from each programme.
You will be experienced in gathering business requirements and delivering both reporting and analysis alongside the ability to present project ideas, plans and initiatives as well as data and insight in an informative and commercially articulate manor to senior stakeholders.
Being an experienced BA in a BI environment you will have had exposure to both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
This is a very involved role with the potential for exposure to some of the organisations most high profile programmes.
