This is a chance to work with a boutique Retail Bank, working in the finance area as a Regulatory reporting and MI Manager. You will be part of their rapid growth and will come in as team leader in their MI Function and drive the development.

THE COMPANY:

My client is a boutique retail bank and are unlike your usual, corporate financial services firm. They are known in the industry for being highly tech-driven, however empower their employees and work in a smart-casual environment whilst maintaining professionalism and a fast-paced structure. They have offices in London and Kent and have grown from 100 to 800 in just 6 years.

THE ROLE:

Key accountabilities of this position will include (but not limited to):

  • Lead and build the MI team focused on regulatory and internal MI reporting
  • Develop and take ownership of the overall finance and regulatory reporting and processes and the prioritization of requests across the scope of the team including managing key stakeholders internally
  • Develop strategies for the long-term goals of the team along with other team leaders across MI and Analytics
  • Apply up to date data controls and ensure documentation is in line for all reports and database queries in relation to finance and regulatory reporting
  • Line manage and coach all direct team reports, including all aspects of performance, development, appraisals etc

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Ideally, the candidate will have the following skillset / attributes:

  • 5 years experience using MS SQL Server
  • Significant experience within a highly regulated environment (FS, Insurance etc)
  • Experience in a reporting tools such as Business Objects (Tableau, Qlikview, Spotfire, Looker, SSRS)
  • Line management experience is essential for this role
  • Experience of developing Management Information reports and a strong understanding of returns/submissions/regulatory reports

THE BENEFITS:

In return, you will be offered between £60,000 - £70,000 as well as other benefits including a bonus and excellent pension scheme.
