A world-renowned luxury automotive brand in Birmingham are currently recruiting for a HR Analytics Consultant due to a massive transformation to the HR department. You will be supporting the development and implementation of HR and People Data. As part of HR transformation, People Analytics will power robust decision-making, looking forward to plan the capacity and capability needs of the business. If you're an outstanding problem solver who is inquisitive and passionate about technology, this is perfect for you.

Supporting the development and implementation of HR data, you will provide reporting and analytics strategy to the business. In partnership with the People Analytics Manager and HR Data & Technology team, you'll help provide the scope and timeframe for delivery. You will be responsible for embedding the data, reporting, and analytics operating model in HR.

THE ROLE

  • Supporting the development and implementation of data relating to HR and internal staffing metrics
  • Deliver reporting and analytical strategy to the business
  • Work closely with the Analytics manager for this area as well as the HR Data and Technology team in order to influence strategy and provide context for and advise on the time frames for delivery
  • Taking on responsibility for implementing the operating model in the HR business area for Data, Reporting and Analytics


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

In order for your application for the The MI/HR Senior Analytics Consultant (SQL, Tableau, Excel, R/Python) to be successful you will need;

  • Strong technical skills across SQL, Tableau (or related data viz tool) and Excel as well as ideally some exposure to or interest in learning Python or R
  • An understanding of what is necessary to execute targeted analytics projects that are varied in nature in order to answer commercially focused questions
  • Be as comfortable sourcing and wrangling data as you are preparing engaging data visualisations and disseminating complex data to non technical stakeholders (of varying levels)
  • A strong understanding of quantitative research methods and an eagerness to up-skill with the latest analytical tools
  • Prior experience gathering requirements from multiple teams/departments/stakeholders and translating them into technical solutions for the delivery of complex insights and recommendations in a simple way
