As Marketing Analytics Analyst, you will be in charge of monitoring and improving the overall performance and optimisation of our lottery customers, giving insight into customer activity across all products and channels. This is a highly dynamic role which gives great exposure to various data sources and also challenges you to understand the numbers and analyse behavioural trends. You will have responsibility for analysing and reporting on data and creating reports that give insight into marketing and business performance. You will have the ability to communicate at a high level and possess clarity of presentation that enables the business to quickly focus on what’s important in a timely manner.
You will have a particular emphasis on the performance of Draw Based and Instant Win games. You will work closely with the Head of Digital and the Senior Product Manager to optimise the development schedule, analyse and grow profit per game, players per game and ensure our schedule is efficient and focused on growth. On a daily basis you will analyse performance and provide recommendations for optimisation with a view to growing both draw based and instant win revenue.
Key Accountabilities or Duties
Produce daily, weekly and monthly KPI and financial reporting and develop associated dashboards
Perform ad hoc analysis for management when required and response to data driven decision making
Develop graphs, reports and presentations to allow management and other key stakeholders to make investment and promotional decisions
Pro-active management and analysis of PLI's key KPI’s and the presentation of recommendations to management
Preparation of information pack for the weekly KPI meeting on a Monday morning
Interpret gaming data and develop recommendations for improvement based on findings
Analyze performance for each draw based game (DBG) type and ensure we are growing across all channels
Analyze performance for each instant win game (IWG) type and ensure we are growing across all channels
Interpret cross sell rates from DBG to IWG and provide insight into the performance of cross sell campaigns
Create reports and dashboards for daily distribution for core KPIs and highlight any trends or areas of concern
Regularly analyze the IWG game mix to improve performance against targets looking for player trends and how often to refresh content
Desired Technical Expertise
We’re looking for a proven Analytics & Intelligence expert who can provide ongoing expertise to this vital part of our business. In order to succeed, you will ideally have the below technical skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google Suite
Programming skills preferred – queries and report writing
Experience of working with SQL / T-SQL query language
Knowledge of statistics to the degree necessary to communicate findings easily
Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
Ability to interpret data and focus stakeholders on the key information
Degree in information management, mathematics, statistics or related field
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong experience in building relationship and managing multiple stakeholders
Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
