The role 

 

The Digital Insights Analyst is a hands-on role reporting into the Analytics Manager.  This key role will be helping our team move to the next part of our strategy, where we establish frameworks to action the insights we produce, personalising experiences for our customers. Your previous analytics and optimisation experience will assist in producing innovative solutions that creates a competitive advantage in an ever changing analytics environment.  

 

A key team role in the delivery of world class digital analytics, systems integration, insight creation, mobile app analytics and performance reporting, working alongside a variety of analytics disciplines e.g. Business Intelligence, Modelling, Database marketing, Healthcare Analytics.
Lead the delivery of actionable insights that build the foundations of best in class online test and learn activity.
Help to drive and deliver advanced analytics including mobile app, attribution, predictive analytics and personalisation to continuously improve our understanding of our customers and the digital experiences we provide to them.
Work with the digital, product and proposition teams to explore and validate new activities and digital experiences pre/post development.  Support in the shaping of Bupa’s Digital Health strategy by using health data to uncover new opportunities.
Line management of a Junior Analyst including objective setting, capability and personal development to ensure high quality output to stakeholders. 

 

Specific Skills

Passionate about analytics and has strong opinions on how business’ can take full advantage of its value.
Ability to think strategically, creatively and can deliver their own analytics solutions to address problems faced by a business.
Experience in playing a fundamental role in shaping a data driven marketing initiative. This would include experience acting as an expert in advising and promoting Test and Learn methodologies to ensure good quality insights from the activity
Experience in using a web analytics tool (e.g. Adobe, Google, Webtrends)
Experience in creating and assessing online multivariate tests.
Experience with SQL Server or any other SQL data interrogation tool. 
Experience of any of the following tools is a plus:  Response Tap, Tealium, Sitecore, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, SAS E Miner, R Studio.
Enjoys being part of an open, friendly team working towards common goals.
Experience of working in an Agile team is a plus.
