Just Eat is looking to hire a Manager Digital Analytics to be based in our Bristol office. This is a high profile and exciting role with the opportunity to make a significant impact and influence the takeaway consumption habits of millions of consumers. Just Eat is the world’s largest online takeaway provider and is in a unique position to leverage its vast quantities of data about takeaway usage patterns in order to transform the experience of millions of takeaway consumers and help tens of thousands of takeaway owners to grow their business.
You will be an integral part of the Technology, Data and Analytics team and will be responsible for managing the Digital Analytics generating insights that drive the growth of our consumer products (mobile, apps and web) through the implementation of a top in class tracking and reporting system. Our mission is to build the world’s greatest food community, the Business Intelligence and Technology teams play a key role in enabling the company to achieve this cherishing a truly data-driven approach.
You will also play a vital role as part of the wider Data and AI team. An important part of this role will be to develop global methodologies and best practice, and to share knowledge and insights across the wider business. Just Eat is looking for someone who understands how to design, develop and support our analytics system to reach the next level as well while developing and leading the digital analytics team.
Working closely with product managers and engineers and supporting your team, you will be :
Design tagging and tracking infrastructure on web and mobile platforms.
Understand Product Owners’ needs to translate their requirements into analytics Technical requirements
Prioritise and support the implementation of the analytics requirement
Implement data collection standardisation and governance processes
Deliver training on data collection methodologies to the internal data users
Work with the rest of the Technology, Data and Analytics team managers to deliver the best tagging and tracking platform required for A/B testing supporting analysis and reporting
Define team strategy and evolution in line with JE goals and culture
Identify, hire and develop top talent to support marketing data and analytics
Required skills and experience
BA/BS analytical degree (engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, economics or similar)
4+ years relevant work experience including web analytics, statistical tools, visualisation, databases scripting/coding (eg: Google Analytics, SQL, BigQuery, R, SAS, Python, Tableau).
Hands on technical experience with analytics tracking, ideally with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics or similar tools.
Best practices in digital analytics for all platforms
Key team player with outstanding analytical skills to interpret data from multiple sources and identify opportunities to improve our applications.
Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and confident presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
Strong database and SQL skills and experience building ad-hoc data sets to answer complex questions.
Project planning and management
Experience in managing and developing a team a plus
