We are in the process of upgrading our Enterprise Data Warehouse to SQL 2016, this is an exciting position to further design and develop this Data Warehouse and the ETL required to populate it. There are still many data sources within the business that we are not exploiting and a great deal of potential value to be gained from them.

Designing and building data integrations you will be identifying and integrating new sources of data into the Data Warehouse as required by the business. We are starting to consider how we can use Azure and cloud technology to further improve the services that the BI team can offer to the business so experience of this would be beneficial, however Azure training will also be provided.

Having experience of working as part of a BI / Data Warehouse team, you will be communicating with Business Intelligence developers and other internal partners to troubleshoot problems and analyse their requirements. Part of your responsibilities will be to work as part of the wider BI team to advise on the best technical approach to deliver what the business is asking for.

We are currently working on exciting projects around CRM and GPS that require data and data modelling to help them succeed, this role will be integral to making that happen.

What we are looking for:

Data Warehouse design, development and debugging
Kimball Dimensional Modelling
Database design (including file groups, partitioning, indexes and primary keys)
SQL Server (preferably SQL 2016)
