London's public bike sharing scheme is available 24/7, 365 days a year. There are more than 10,000 bikes and over 700 bike docking stations across London to help you get around quickly and easily. The scheme recently expanded to South West London so now you can saddle up anywhere from Shepherds Bush to Canary Wharf and Wandsworth Town to Camden Town.


Reporting directly to the Performance & Innovation Manager at London Cycle Hire, x2 Business Information Analysts are required to take responsibility for the provision of scheme data and management reporting which is based upon the regular collection and management of customer and supplier data on LCHS systems. These systems are auditable and meet agreed quality standards. Responsible for providing analysed data to support strategy and decision making by management team to ensure development, monitoring and delivery against business plan.


Key Responsibilities


Lead in developing requested ad-hoc reports in response to business requirements within agreed SLA.
Responsible for production of daily, weekly and monthly operational reports and performance indicators in accordance with the timescales indicated within the contract.
Deliver agreed regular Business Information that drives the organisation’s strategy and decision making by the Management team to ensure development and delivery of the business plan.
Maintain and continue to develop efficient ways of developing reports, and achieve improvements in efficiencies which are under the team’s control.
Supports the Managers in working with TfL, particularly in the development of the regular reporting against the agreed targets.
Be responsible for the front line configuration of Maximo to support the Operation.
Lead on providing ad-hoc analysis using data from the Data Warehouse to support operational activities.
Perform quality control checks on all reports, prior to submission.
Work closely with the operation to understand the business need for internal reports and insightful Business Information.
Support the Performance and Innovation Manager with ad-hoc requests as per the business requirement.


Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications:


Knowledge of T-SQL.
MS Office: Excel & PowerPoint.

Experience using customer information management and Business Intelligence products in a business environment.
Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, dynamic and have attention to detail.
Strong Communicator – both verbal and written.
Strong Planning & Organisational skills.
Strong Problem Solving & Investigation skills.
Strong analytical and interpretative skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict time scales and targets.
Effective time management for projects with clearly defined and communicated outcomes, timelines and monitoring processes to achieve project deadlines.
Must pass Criminal Reference Bureau and Credit Reference checks.
Knowledge of SSRS/VBA is desireable.
