Being the single point of contact for colleagues from within Finance in RMG to request data, insight and analytics from Group Business Intelligence (GBI) you will ensure that the business unit is getting the most from the data and the available tools and that the right capabilities are being lined up for the future.
This varied role will see you managing stakeholders to translate business requirements for data into detailed specifications and functionalities using Business Intelligence (BI) systems and methodologies as well as providing insight through data storytelling and report writing.
You will be responsible for providing data analysis as well as supporting the development of major dashboards and developing a broad understanding of all GBI processes and end to end development across GBI.
You will be working in a face paced commercial environment with responsibility for the finance function’s requirements.
Being an experienced analyst and an all-rounder in a commercial environment you will have proven experience of delivering large BI projects impacting on multiple departments and know the importance of using data to add value to an organisation and be able to manage more than one project at a time.
Having excellent communication skills both written and verbal you will have a proven track record of delivering numerous project simultaneously, be highly organised and have excellent stakeholder management skills.
You must be highly numerate with a structured analytical problem solving approach and a high attention to detail ideally with background in the financial sector.
Having knowledge of Qlikview Dashboard building, SAP BI- Business Objects, SQL Teradata and experience of working in an agile environment would be advantageous.
A Degree or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
This role is based in Chesterfield.
