As an Analytics Manager you will sit on a primarily credit risk focused team that cover the leading Credit Card Portfolio. However, day to day, you will not be expected to cover the life cycle with a BAU focus, instead you will lead your team to discover new and exciting uses of analytics to drive change. The results of your work will feed into the BAU credit risk function, but this is a real chance to go above and beyond what has been expected of you previously and do something new. Whether that is finding ways of bringing unstructured data into the scoring process or how to use psychographic quizzes to help determine who you bring on board - the head of Analytics is behind driving innovation and change within the business.
Although you will be managerial in this role, you will still be expected to be closely in touch with your technical SAS/SQL (potentially R) skills and have a strong Credit Risk understanding, ideally of Credit Card products.
