Our client, an innovative leader in finance and debt collection, are looking for a skilled Analytics and Insight Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis, in the Manchester office.

This role offers excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to take ownership of and develop the analytics team and improve performance of the companies Insight and Analytical functions.

Role Responsibilities;

*Manage and develop an effective analytics team who have high activity and outputs, and support the coaching and progress of the analysts on the team.

*Analyse large and complex datasets using statistical methods to produce written reports outlining trends, patterns and insights on debt collections. Provide recommendations on improvements that can be made moving forward.

*Through your analysis you will identify opportunities to add value and identify root cause of any underlying issues.

*Pro-actively evaluate opportunities to improve analysis, reporting quality, forecasting and efficiency.

*Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on analytics and insight performance, and communicate the subsequent business improvement solutions. Champion the use and value of insights and analysis across the business.

*Manage and review all proposed changes to system development and process improvements to make sure risks are reduced and the right controls are in place.

Skills/Experience required;

-A minimum of 5 years' experience in an analytical role within a financial services company- preferably debt collections.

-Exceptional statistical analysis and data manipulation skills; highly proficient in statistical packages such as SQL, SAS, Tableau and R.

-Strong understanding of the key commercial aspects of debt management and how to maximise performance.

-Experience and application of debt collection regulations e.g. FCA, OFCOM, TCF, CSA, Lending Standards, and responsibility of volume production in this environment.

-A demonstrated track record of using both internal and external data to provide actionable insights to the business.

-Strong communication skills to be able to relay the details of the complex data in terms that are understandable and aid business discussions/debates.

-Experience in the implementation and maintenance of predictive and behavioural models.

-General leadership and professional skills which allow you to work effectively independently, and multi-task to deliver valuable outcomes.
